Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This is an English translation of the Polish original, provided for convenience. If the two differ, the Polish version prevails.
§1 General provisions
- These terms (the “Terms”) set out the rules for using the TogetherPlan app (the “App”) — a service for planning trips, events and arrangements together, for couples and groups of friends, available as a mobile app on iOS and as a browser version.
- The service is provided, and the personal data controller is, Michał Białas, contact: togetherplancontact@gmail.com (the “Service Provider”).
- The rules for processing personal data are described in a separate document — the Privacy Policy, which supplements these Terms.
- The Terms are made available free of charge to everyone before the agreement to use the App is concluded, in accordance with Article 8 of the Polish Act on the Provision of Services by Electronic Means.
§2 Conditions of use
- The App is free of charge and currently contains no paid features or in-app purchases.
- To create an account you must sign in with Sign in with Apple or a Google account — the Service Provider does not offer registration with a password.
- The App may be used by a person who has reached the age of 16. Minors under that age may use the App only with the consent and under the supervision of a legal guardian.
- Using the App requires a device running a supported version of iOS (or a web browser for the web version) and internet access.
§3 Rules of use
By using the App you undertake:
- not to post content in it that is unlawful, offensive, infringes the rights of third parties (including copyright) or is contrary to good morals,
- not to use the App to contact other users in an unwanted way or to attempt unauthorised access to other people's accounts,
- not to attempt automated, mass guessing of other users' friend codes,
- to provide truthful profile data as supplied by the sign-in provider.
The Service Provider may remove content that violates the above rules and — in the case of gross or repeated violations — suspend or delete the user's account.
§4 User account
- An account is created automatically on first sign-in with Sign in with Apple or Google and is assigned to one person.
- Every user receives a unique, 9-digit friend code, which they can share with others for the purpose of planning together within a couple or a group of friends.
- A user can at any time, on their own, permanently delete their account in the App: Settings → Delete account. Deleting an account is irreversible and results in the permanent deletion of the data connected with it, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Deleting an account does not delete content that other people still use. Trips, events and polls created by the user in groups in which other members remain stay in those groups, and their authorship passes to the person who has belonged to them the longest — just as when a group is simply left. This is meant to prevent a situation in which one person closing their account deprives the whole crew of their shared plan. The detailed scope of what is deleted and what is transferred is described in the Privacy Policy. A user who wants to delete a particular piece of content permanently should delete it before closing the account.
§5 Content created by users
- You remain the owner of the content you create in the App (for example trip descriptions, notes, proposed places, and uploaded ticket files).
- By creating content within a given couple or group of friends, you grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive licence to store it and display it to the other members of that same couple/group — solely for the purpose of delivering the App's features.
- Deletion of content by the user, or deletion of the account, ends this licence with respect to that content.
§6 Settlements
- The “Settlements” section serves solely for the shared recording of expenses and debts within a couple or group of friends. The App is not a payment service within the meaning of the Polish Payment Services Act: it does not mediate transfers, does not accept or hold funds and does not collect payment data (card numbers, bank accounts or online banking credentials).
- Descriptions, amounts, currencies, the indication of who paid and the way a cost is split are entered by the users themselves. The Service Provider does not verify their truthfulness or arithmetical correctness and does not confirm that any payment between users has actually taken place — marking an entry as settled is solely a note made by the users.
- Amounts are converted between currencies at the publicly available average exchange rate of the Polish National Bank (NBP) and this is for auxiliary and informational purposes only. It is not a settlement rate or a basis for any claims — the rate on the day of the actual settlement between users may be different.
- All financial obligations and settlements remain solely a matter between the users. The Service Provider is not a party to these settlements, does not mediate in pursuing claims and is not liable for disputes arising from entries in this section.
- An entry concerning more than one person (for example an expense split between the members of a group) is a single shared record, not a separate copy for each person. Its editing or deletion by an authorised person — the author of the entry or the group administrator — changes it for all participants.
- Deleting an account by a user also deletes the settlement entries they entered, including those concerning a group that still exists. This changes the balance for the other participants. Before closing an account we recommend settling up with the couple or group; the Service Provider does not restore deleted entries or mediate in disputes arising from this.
§7 Tickets and files
- In the “Tickets” section users can attach documents in PDF format to a trip — other formats are not accepted. Two technical limits apply: a single file may be at most 4 MB, and all the tickets of one trip together at most 10 MB. The Service Provider may change these limits, giving notice in the App.
- An added ticket is visible to all participants of the trip, even if, when adding it, it was indicated whom it specifically concerns — such a mark organises the list and does not restrict access. The user adding a file is responsible for having the right to share it with the other participants and should refrain from uploading documents containing data they do not want to show them.
- Files are kept in private storage and released only after checking that the person downloading belongs to the given trip. They have no public addresses.
- The App is not a document archive and does not replace your own copy of a ticket. Deleting a trip, a group or an account permanently deletes the related files, and the Service Provider does not guarantee their recovery. We recommend keeping your own copy of the documents you need for travel.
§8 Liability
- The Service Provider makes efforts for the App to work correctly and without interruption, but does not guarantee its constant availability or error-free operation (for example in the event of a failure of external providers such as Google, Apple or the hosting provider).
- The Service Provider is not liable for content posted by users or for the consequences of decisions made on the basis of it (for example concerning the dates or places of a trip).
- The Service Provider's liability towards consumers is limited only to the extent permitted by mandatory provisions of Polish law.
§9 Complaints
- Complaints about the operation of the App can be submitted to togetherplancontact@gmail.com, describing what the problem was and giving the email address connected with the account.
- Complaints are handled within 14 days of receipt. The reply is sent to the email address from which the complaint was sent.
§10 Termination of the agreement
- A user may stop using the App at any time by deleting their account in accordance with §4(3).
- The Service Provider may terminate the agreement for the provision of the service with immediate effect in the event of a gross violation by the user of the rules in §3.
§11 Changes to the Terms
The Service Provider reserves the right to change the Terms, in particular in connection with a change in the functional scope of the App or in legal provisions. Users will be informed of significant changes in the App before they take effect. The date of the last update is at the top of this document.
§12 Final provisions
- Matters not regulated by the Terms are governed by Polish law, including the Civil Code and the Act on the Provision of Services by Electronic Means.
- If any provision of the Terms proves invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
- Disputes will be resolved by the court competent under the applicable provisions, taking into account the rights consumers are entitled to.
